Every curve, fold and mark is shaped by the artisan’s hand — from the ceremonial saddle and carved bells to the expressive eyes and delicate anklet detailing. The visible tool marks and natural grain are intentionally preserved, allowing the sculpture to retain the warmth and individuality of a truly handmade object.

A Note on the Craft
No two Nandis are exactly alike.
Because each sculpture is individually carved by hand, subtle variations in colour, grain, texture and detailing may occur. These are not imperfections - they are the signature of the artisan who made it.

- ITrim the wick to 6mm before every burn to prevent soot and mushrooming.
- IIAllow the wax to melt to the edges on first use — this prevents tunnelling.
- IIIBurn for no more than 4 hours at a stretch. Let the candle cool fully before relighting.
- IVKeep away from drafts, direct sunlight, and children. Never leave unattended.
- VStop use when 1cm of wax remains. The vessel is yours to keep — rinse with warm water and reuse.
