A familiar Indian feeling, reimagined.
Looking for a gift that feels distinctly Indian without feeling traditional in the expected way?
Heritage Lassi brings together fragrance, Indian craftsmanship and everyday nostalgia in a keepsake brass vessel. Inspired by the comforting character of rose lassi and the colours, flavours and celebrations that make India feel like home, it is our contemporary interpretation of a familiar favourite.
The candle is hand-poured with 100% soy wax, finished with naturally dried rose petals, and housed in a beautifully detailed brass tumbler featuring a hand-etched, meenakari-inspired design.
It is made to be gifted, displayed and remembered.
A candle to light today. A brass keepsake to keep tomorrow.

The Fragrance
Rose · Green Cardamom · Saffron · Soft Cream
Inspired by the comforting character of rose lassi, Heritage Lassi opens with delicate, slightly sweet rose.
Green cardamom adds an aromatic freshness, while saffron brings a subtle warmth before settling into a soft, creamy finish.
The result is warm, floral, lightly spiced and comforting - familiar enough to evoke nostalgia, but refined enough to feel at home in a contemporary space.
Think of it as the feeling of a chilled rose lassi on a warm Indian afternoon, translated into fragrance.
The Vessel
Brass, inspired by India’s decorative craft traditions.
The candle is housed in a substantial brass tumbler with a hand-etched, meenakari-inspired decorative motif.
The intricate peacock detailing draws from India’s long love affair with ornament, colour and craftsmanship, while the brass gives the vessel a warm, timeless presence.
The small variations, fine etched details and natural character of the metal are part of what makes a handcrafted-inspired object feel real.
When the candle is finished, the brass vessel remains - ready to become part of your home.
- ITrim the wick to 6mm before every burn to prevent soot and mushrooming.
- IIAllow the wax to melt to the edges on first use — this prevents tunnelling.
- IIIBurn for no more than 4 hours at a stretch. Let the candle cool fully before relighting.
- IVKeep away from drafts, direct sunlight, and children. Never leave unattended.
- VStop use when 1cm of wax remains. The vessel is yours to keep — rinse with warm water and reuse.

We don't make thousands at a time. Every batch is deliberate — hand-poured, inspected, wrapped. When it sells out, it's gone. Because quality has a limit that volume doesn't respect.

Wara vessels are designed as permanent objects. When the fragrance is spent, clean the vessel — use it as a planter, a holder, a keepsake. You didn't buy a product. You acquired something that lasts.
